I ate something in East Glacier, MT this summer which I consider to be the best cold climate breakfast food I have ever sampled in my travels. It amounts to a kind of baked oatmeal, almost bread pudding-like thing topped with huckleberries. I can arrange the latter but, short of asking the self-taught cook his closely-held invention, am seeking recipe for similar.
Does this sort of recipe ring a bell for anyone out there? Is there an ethnic equivalent which I mightbe unaware of?
