When we were talking about Houston taco joints a while back I forgot to mention Al's Quick-Stop at Waugh and Welch, next door to Rudyard's. Great melange of Mexican and Arab food - you can get weird stuff like a pastor pita or a gyros taco. I also love Bibas/One's A Meal at Grey and Stanford where 24 hours a day you can getyour choice of serious traditional diner food (love those scrambled eggs with chili) or some pretty decent Greek chow. There's just not many places in Houston where you can find yourself trying to decide between a club sandwich, an omolette or a calzone at 3am on a weekday morning. Any other nominations for Houston eateries that crank out two or more disimilar cuisines out of the same kitchen?
