If you are heading up on 1-95 to parts north of Brunswick, Ga. and you love "Q", plan on getting off at Exit 29 East and proceeding to THE GEORGIA PIG.
Ah, there it sits (north side of the road), a log cabin amongst a variety of great priced gas stations and horrible fast food places. The Pig has picnic tables, pine needles on the ground, and strings of yellow light bulbs all over the place. An amazing Southern visual experience!
Walk up the wooden ramp to experience fresh, cold hand-cut slaw, homemade baked beans and some of the best chopped BBQ pork I've had in a long time - Real good BBQ sauce, too. Didn't get to try the ribs or the Brunswick Stew, but they were slow cooked and looked real good, too. Go there!
Incidently, if you are going to Savannah, I am posting on the "South" message board.
