houndish sites on N-Judah line

Greetings Hounds,

As a San Ramon-er, I get to San Francisco infrequently, but enjoy trips to areas off the tourist path. Been there, done that. So an article in Sunset magazine for September caught my eye.

It refers to taking the N-Judah streetcar for a bay to breakers tour for $1.25. Okay, I love a bargain, and I love neighborhoods to browse in.

My question to you, you, and you, is....... What neighborhood would you browse in on this line, and what houndish places would you eat for lunch in those places? I love hole in the wall places.

The article suggests...... Cole Valley. And to try Burgermeister (on Carl Street) for burgers and shakes. Also Arizmendi (on Ninth Steeet)for sublime pizzas and bread.

Sea Breeze Cafe (on Judah) says good atmosphere and food according to the article.

Article says to get off at Ninth and Irving at "the once dowdy, now hip Inner Sunset.

Any feedback or suggestions appreciated for a future trip on Muni for the above mentioned neighborhoods and/or hound worthy places. Thanks
