Im in town for one day 9/22 Arrive Logan 7:00 a.m and depart the next morning 9/23 (staying at Logan Hyatt ) and want to do a chow tour of Boston ( will be using public transportation guess the T ). I like low key ethnic and simple places with lots of flavor ( like older places that have been around for some time too with some color and history ). From reading the board I find the following interesting:
Regina for Pizza in the North End
Modern Pastry or Marias Bakery for Cannoli
Neptune Oysters for Cherrystones ( perfer clams over oysters )
Whats a good seafood shack if one exists in the city? Boiled Lobster, Fried Bellly Clams etc..
Whats a good place for 1 in Chinatown ( lunch specials where you get a few items )
Hope this interests you to take the time and share with a Foodie from Los Angeles ( grew up in NYC ) and if anyone is up for a food crawl and wanna meet I am up for that as well.. Thanks in advance!
