Restaurants & Bars

Hound and non-hound friendly recs

I'm going out with 2 friends on Saturday night, and we somehow always end up at one of the same five restaurants. I have started putting my foot down, and in the process have run into trouble finding places to eat.

While I am pretty much up for anything, my one friend is EXTREMELY picky. Her meal at a yesterday is either spaghetti with marinara sauce, some form of grilled chicken, and/or a mixed salad. And sometimes fish if it's not prepared too fancy.

I have searched menu pages like there's no tomorrow, but can't seem to find a place that serves food for BOTH of us. Any recs?

Location: Anywhere in manhattan besides upper east side and midtown east.

Price: inexpensive to moderate. We work in non-profit, after all. ;)

Thanks in advance!
