hot wings in NOLA

Hungry Celeste | Apr 29, 2003 05:29 PM

Help me out, y'all...who has the best wings in town? I'm interested in all three species of wings (traditional buffalo, smothered/fried soul-food-y, and the nouveau wings which often come with your choice of 15 different exotic sauces). I've tried Wing Zone on Claiborne (good), Saucy's on Freret (various sauces were tasty), Hooter's (on the greasy side, it seems), Praline Connection (hit & miss)--all were acceptable/good, and a few more unmemorable spots. Anybody tried Mother Clucker's? And, I recall a former coworker telling me about some chicken shack out in the East (Ron's? Don's? Lon's?), maybe on Crowder.
