For those of you with dragon mouths, who love to cry while eating, there is a new smokin' gun in town!
CLUCKIT's "VERY Spicy Piri Broth with Clams and Chorizo." I'm guessing that many of you can't find enough incendiary dishes that are not Asian (because the Asian ones are so plentiful); well, this is surely one of them! (As for me, who is definitely not in your clan, I thought it was a terrific dish, except that I could not eat it. So there you go-- more for you!)
Also central to CLUCKIT'S menu are Brian Poe's Piri Piri table sauces for the menu's main feature-- grilled chicken, pork, or shrimp; they have 2 wicked hot levels and one 'medium' which I could handle with careful small dabs.
I know about the longstanding ventures into incendiary at East Coast Grill, but who else in town is doing non Asian dishes this hot?
