Hot Breads in Woburn

Went in mid-day.

Paneer bun: Nice buttery pastry with a croissant-like texture. Filling was ground-up paneer with a lot of spice but a flat sort of overall flavor. I would've guessed it was just tofu if I didn't know it was cheese.

Keema bun: More flavor in this one, with ground up lamb.

Curry chicken puff: This was the real standout, with flaky-crunchy-chewy-buttery puff pastry (about 3" high) and a very well seasoned chicken filling that perfectly complemented the pastry.

Masala cookie: Regular butter cookie, good butter flavor, not too sweet, that suddenly hits you with a SERIOUS heat (for a cookie) and a nice bouquet of spices.

Mixed fruit cake: Moist, light sponge cake with whipped cream filling/frosting and crunchy bits of chopped fruit. Pleasant.

Very reasonable prices. Total was about $7.50.
