Horseshoe Grille Reopened

Just a heads up for those of you who were fans of the old Horseshoe Grille on Route 28 in North Reading that they've reopened. Same location, but they bulldozed the dirty old shack that used to be on the site and constructed a very impressive new building. If you remember the old building, you'll definitely be impressed with the new one, as they're obviously trying to attract the yuppie crowd now.

Wife and I have stopped in twice over the past week. We only had bar appetizers, but the nachos and BBQ sampler were both as we remember from the old 'Shoe, if a buck or two more. In the old building, the BBQ was some of the best around, so hopefully they haven't changed much. The service is still a little confused, as they're obviously getting used to all of the new equipment and workflow there, and the waits for a table on the weekends are absurd, as it looks like everyone in town is stopping in to check out the new digs -- not sure if they accept reservations.

We'll be trying to get in for a dinner from their restaurant menu in the next week or so, and will post feedback when we do.
