For the past five+ years I have become increasingly disenchanted with store bought horseradish. Everything I tried was a disappointment. Hurt me, damn it.
My wife mentioned that her homestead had a (wild?) horseradish plot that her mother occasionally harvested. Oh? So THAT'S where all those unlabeled bottles of goodness originated!
We harvested one large plant and transplanted two plants to our flower bed. It looks like 1:2 will survive. Fingers crossed.
