I have been dying to try this place ever since Sietsema said "Its likely to be the best pork you've ever tasted. "
I finally made it on Tuesday and sadly the pork was good, not great. It was dry, looked like it had been sitting around awhile. You know somethings not right when you're paying more attention to the sides -- in this case the llapingachos -- than the star of the show, the pork.
My friend got the seco de chivo, which was actually pretty good and leads me to believe that good things can come from this place. So my theory is since we went on a Tuesday, that was the mistake as it is a day when the place was clearly not jumping.
Anyone else have experience with the suckling pig or anything else there for that matter?
