Need a particular hood vent

Hello. I'm soon doing a slight remodel in my kitchen. I have an electric coil 4 burner cook top above a wall oven so the setup is like a range but is two separate units. It's old and I'm looking at getting a new range. I'd love an induction range but there doesn't seem to be any good slide in induction ranges out there. The electrolux looks great but very bad reviews about the electronics. So I want to go back to my original desire to get a bluestar 30" range. My worry with this is with high output gas burners and no range hood is not a good combination. From what I can tell it will not be possible to install a hood. From the top of my counter to the ceiling is 56" so very low ceiling. Also above that ceiling is the center of my daughters room. I also have a window a bit to the side of the stove which the trip I'm 27" away from the ceiling high hearth. The top of the trim for the window is 12" so realistically I need a range door which is under 27" long by 12" high and also needs to vent and mount from the back. Then I have to get a hole through the two layers of brick of the exterior wall. It can be a bit longer than the 27" but no taller than a foot. Does such a thing exist. Here is a photo of what I have to work with. And if any new induction range has come out that is actually reliable comments welcome. I like the slide in design where the controls are on the front. Sorry I don't know why my photobucket image isn't showing up and the site won't allow me to directly upload the photo
