Honeymoon in Tokyo & Hong Kong (Help needed - ball dropped)

ariben12 | Jul 1, 201609:54 AM     6

Hi All! I am getting married July 9th and the morning of July 11th set out to Tokyo. I land Tuesday July 12 and will be there until Friday July 15th in the morning, then Hong Kong until Monday July 18th in the morning (there is more to the itinerary but I will not bore you with that - this is the part that matters).

I do not eat shellfish or meat, but big fan of any other fish! (Salmon, Tuna, yellowtail, the list goes on). Booked right now are Vegan restaurants which I don't want to go to, and was going to the fish market a day when it was closed, and other disasters.

I have discovered your site today and need your help planning my stay/food spots during those days. We love Asian food (fish + noodles, sushi, salmon, tuna, any white fish.... I don't want it to seem that we can't eat anything given the dietary restriction - there is still a lot!)

This is my itinerary right now following some research on my end. Help!!! Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Land in Tokyo Tuesday July 12th around 2pm
Staying in Peninsula Hotel, by the Imperial Palace
-Walk round Ginza
-Dinner @ Kaikaya Restaurant

Wednesday July 13th (fish market is closed here)
-Hop on Hop Off Bus during the day
>Visit Ebisu area
>Sumo wrestling around 3-4pm
>What sites to see particularly?
-Lunch @ Tempra Kondo
>Do they take reservations?
-Dinner @ Nobu (please save me from this, I live in NY)
>Need suggestions please... Asian food / a la carte menu preferably vs. Omakase style sushi restaurants

Thursday July 14th
-Fish market, then eat at Sushi Dai / any other spot there (I'm not the kind to wait 4 hours for sushi)
-Lunch @ No idea where to go. Have listed Drunkards Alley, Sushi Tokami, Sushi No Midori
-Tokyo National Museum
-Dinner @ No idea where to go

Friday head to Hong Kong, land around 2pm
Stay in Peninsula Hotel
-Afternoon tea @ Peninsula Lobby
-Night/dinner: Temple Street Night Market

Saturday July 16th
-Star Ferry to Golden Bauhinia Square
-Lunch @ Luk Yu Tea House
-Victoria Peak & Lan Kwai Fong Neighborhood
-Dinner @ Above & Beyond (I would like to change this)

Sunday July 17th
-Nan Lian Garden
-Lunch @ The Verandah at the Peninsula (again a meal at the hotel?)
-Lantau Island
-Dinner @ Lung King Heen Restaurant
-Night: Boat Tour Across the Harbor
-Night: Go to IFC, buy a bottle of wine and eat in the terrace with the view

Sushi Tokami
