Honeycrisp apples

Star | Oct 6, 2003 05:29 PM

I was visiting the fam back in Ohio last weekend, and my mother introduced me to one of the best apples I've ever tasted. The honeycrisp is crispy and sweet, like the name, and every bite resulted in a face full of juice. It's everything an apple should be. Since I forgot to grab a few for the road, I've been CRAVING them.

A friend spotted some at the SM farmer's market this weekend, and they are delicious, but so tiny. The ones I had in Ohio were as big as a softball. Has anyone spotted these anywhere by chance? Thanks!
