I'm new to this board and would love your help. I make my holiday gifts, ranging from candied ginger to salt preserved lemons, digestifs and so on. This year I want to make the Lithuanian honey drink, Krupnikas.
I'd like to make something else to go along with it but am coming up cold. I'm thinking a nice theme might be "Snowed In," so am looking for another little something that would complement the Krupnikas as a snack - savory, I think, as the Krupnikas is sweetish - that would be nice to curl up with on a wintery day.
Any ideas? So far I've considered home made Marcona almonds, cheese sticks... but based on what I've read here, there's a wealth of ideas that haven't occurred to me!
I'm excited about making the Krupnikas and look forward to any suggestions for a "partner" you might have. Thanks!
