I have spent a lot of time trying to understand which brand to replace my old mix of pots and pans with. Today I have satake and tefal nonstick pan and old cheap Iittala pots also some Lecruset pots. I want to start fresh and replace it all. I live in an appartment with a gas stove, but we are going to move soon and I have no idea if we'll have gas or induction next, hence all copper, non induction lines aren't an option.
From youtube I got the urge to go all in Allclad (American Test Kitchen), but i live in Sweden and shipping is annoying with tax and all. But after some time in the different threads here, there seem to be better options. I looked into the M'Cook and built a list of all the individual parts a want and then i dug deeper and started to peak at Falk copper coeur line ( I do not love the look or price but they seem fancier with that copper core). I also liked the idea of the nanobond but I am a practical guy and do not want to polish stuff often. I spend too much time on this and I need a push in the right direction.
I only had bad experience with sainless pans (though cheap ones) So I'm currantly looking for nonstick and carbon steel
The setup i built from M'Cook is the following:
Sauce pan; 12, 16, 18, 20 cm
Saucier: 20 cm
Pot; 24 cm
Non stick pan: 20, 28 cm
M'Steel pan, 32 cm
Glass lids for the lot.
Maybe I can skip a couple of saucepan sizes idk.
I would like to spend €1.000-2.000.
Anyone in here that has 2 cents to give? Please:)
