Home not so homey anymore

dd | Jun 22, 200502:38 PM     3

Had an interesting experience at Home last week. Thought I share it with everyone. Two things especially. First off, the hostess was kind of snootty. It was around 5:45 pm, the place had maybe 2 tables, yet she insisted I wait at the bar before my friend showed up. After I insisted to be seated, she reluctantly showed me to a table. Secondly, the quantity of the early bird special has reduced greatly. I remembered fondly how delicious and filling it was in the past, but no more. The portion appeared to be half of what it used to be, as it was true with the regular entree my friend ordered as well. Another thing is that we both noticed the prices has also gone up. Although I must say that both dishes tasted pretty good, if only there were more to eat. I was just wondering if anyone else had similar experiences.
