One thing I'm working on is reducing/eliminating the amount of food we waste in this house, for ethical and financial reasons.
What are some tips/tricks you use to limit what you waste?
- I love the idea someone posted here about keeping vegetable scraps and using them to flavor chicken stock.
- I've all but stopped buying lettuce because we so rarely eat salad and end up wasting it.
- I've invested in a couple of prepworks containers that keep veggies fresh - they work really well to extend the shelf life
