Welcome to nominations thread for February dish of the month! February is a good month in my book - the days are getting longer, the lowest temperatures are behind us, and it is short -:)
So, what shall we cook in February? Something hearty? Something romantic? Or maybe something comforting? I have a couple of dishes in mind that I will nominate in the thread below and look forward to your nominations.
Please read the starred guidelines about what makes a dish, type your nomination in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, and check the many dishes that we made over the years to make sure that your nomination is not for one of the previous DOTM at this link:

Nominate and support as many dishes as you like, there is no limit. Nominations will close on January 26th at 6pm Eastern standard time when we'll move on to voting.
**What Makes a Dish** A dish is loosely defined as an ingredient and a method of preparation. So while chocolate is not a dish, chocolate mousse is a dish. It doesn’t have to be terribly specific, you don’t have to say “tomatoes chopped and simmered over low heat then puréed and poured into a bowl,” you can just nominate “tomato soup.” For some dishes, both the ingredients and the technique are implied, such as cassoulet or jambalaya.
