Thanks to Dave MP for waking me up to Holy Gelato.

I stopped there yesterday with my parents before taking them home to Salinas. One of the owners worked for Mondo/Naia. The gelati are sourced from Latest Scoop, Classico, and Maggie Mudd. Prices are high, the mini is just under three bucks. For my parents, a mini each of mocha morning. I had a mini of Dubliner, a coconut milk-based vegan concoction made by Maggie Mudd. It's coffee flavored with chocolate cookie crumbs and a slug of Irish whiskey that leaves a long, alcoholic tingle on the tongue. There was so much going on, I didn't miss the butterfat or dairy at all.
