Holt Renfrew Lunch Counter

Okay, calling Holt Renfrew's downstairs eating space a "lunch counter" seems to be a bit odd but I don't know if there is another name for it.

I went over the weekend and had a great bowl of wild mushroom soup. I was delighted and enchanted with the fact that this rich looking soup was both vegetarian and free of cream. Terrific, light tasting and beautiful. This was augmented by a curry chicken salad. I didn't know that this was going to be weighed. Tasty and worth the $6.55 for the many bites of chicken breast.

Sure, I will go again. It is a ladies who lunch type of place. And while the "priceless" chalk menu board lists all the food items, I would have liked to have know how much my food was going to cost me.
