My parents alumni group (Jefferson High 46) have a Christmas luncheon each year and need recommendations. There will be about 10 15 76-year olds and they want to be kind of central L.A. located. The last 2 years they met at Taix but dont want to go there again. They want it in a separate dining room. They mostly live in the central/south L.A. area and dont want to travel too far. Im thinking downtown L.A., as far south as Manhattan Beach/Torrance [theyve been to ClaimJumpers [I know, I know] and dont want to go that far again, Marina Del Rey on the north/west front. Maybe Culver City? Regular American fare, not too spicy or fancy.
I recently went to dinner with my parents at Engine Co. 28 and they said no to that. I think the separate room is upstairs and some of them use canes.
Thanks for whatever help you can give.
