We’re heading into the annual year-end cookathon, which is probably going to look a little different this year thanks to COVID. Despite that, food must be made! And... mistakes will be made along the way, Did you forget to thaw the turkey? Set the oven at 425 instead of 325? Leave out a key ingredient? Share the story here!
I’ll kick things off... I didn’t add quite enough water to my pie crust this morning, and was at the point of tossing the crumbly mess and starting again, when I decided to check the recipe one last time. Whoops, 1/2 C ice water, not 1/3 C. BUT! The fail was because I was too lazy/in denial to get my glasses, and the font was a bit too small for me to clearly distinguish fractions. Guess what will be on my face for the rest of the recipe?
Bring on the stories!
