Near the end of October I'm going to be spending a few days in Bologna, followed by a week in Napoli and Torino. (Torino for the second time.)
What I'm looking for in all three cities are the little hole in the wall places where the food is like homemade and reasonably priced.
The most memorable place I've eaten in Italy is such a place - Trattoria Da Rocco in Piazza Ghiberti, Firenze. Simple, delicious and fun! Definitely not gourmet!
(Not Italy but has anyone been to Le Panier Gourmand in Marseille? This is one perfect example of what I hope to find everywhere I travel!)
