Wound up at HK for Sunday brunch as we were looking for something pre-theater. Theater being on 37th St. & 10th Ave. BTW, RGR thanks for taking the time to post the recommendation. However we really did not enjoy the brunch at all. Location held us hostage. One person could not walk far, so Le Madeline, Rachels, West Bank Café and other typical choices were not possible. It was very crowded so I guess we were lucky to only wait 5 minutes or so before a table for 4 opened up. The place is loud, very loud. Service is extremely slow. Food was unmemorable. Ive had better Caesar salad at EJs. Other items included bagel with cream cheese and lox, poached eggs over frissee salad and egg white omelet with goat cheese and ratouille with potatoes and toast. Dessert was warm apple tart which you needed a knife to cut and it was served too warm. Overall, we wont be back.
