Palio's Pizza for lunch - seemed to be a copy of Upper Crust in Boston but the crust isn't as crunchy
Island Merchant - fish tacos weren't as good as expected and the other dishes (cod and chicken) were just ok though they did have live music
Cooke's for lunch - lobster roll and clam chowder were ok...clam chowder was too creamy and lobster roll wasn't that big, but was done in the classic NE style w/ buttered/toasted bun
Embargo - good tapas but nowhere near as good as Toro in Boston; turkey day egg roll was dry and lobster mac&cheese was too cheesy so it drowned out the lobster taste...kobe sliders were good...short rib was good but came out lukewarm...molten cake wasn't melted enough in the center but was good. Didn't make the 1/2 price tapas between 4:30-6 but it would have been a good deal if we did.
Hannah's for lunch - seafood sandwich was good and clam chowder was the best we tried during the trip
Ardeo - great fresh pasta...tasty pork saltibocca...tuna was a bit dry...nice tender calimari
Mattakese Wharf in Barnstable - supposedly had good views, but it's just a view of a small docking area/channel...no view of harbor. Clam chowder was very bland. Waitress got the daily special wrong (beans instead of asparagus and choice of starch) and the salmon came out w/ a black top crust. Food was expensive.
