So I was passing Oletta River State Park this last weekend and noticed before the entrance there was the old Historic Blue Marlin Fish House. This is a restaurant steeped in history and on the Oletta river. It used to be filled up all the time with its signiature smoked fish dip and smoked fish entrees/sandwiches. Now there is new management and an expanded menu. salmon burgers, smoked ribs and brisket to die for, and many other items. I went back several days in a row now. I have tried the chilli, clam chowder, salmon burgers, smoked ribs and brisket, hummus and fish dip. Great value (especially the beer - $2.75 Yuengling). Right now its the owner doing everything with family coming in to help him here and there. His name was DJ if I remember correctly. Real friendly guy, and he is there to make sure you have a great experience! Go Check it out!! They have this trailer in front of the restaurant I am told will become a second kitchen to expand their menu even more, so this place is a good spot to keep an eye on. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the live jazz and good beach music playing there.
