I travel frequently to the Boston/Braintree area for my work. I sniffed out your leads on Saporito's in Hull and Tosca in Hingham - I want to confirm to all that these are both excellent.
Saporito's - Very warm welcome and homey space. Staff were quick and attentive. Owner Andy is a terrific person, who cares for his 15 yr. establishment and is eager to make you feel like one of the family. The halibut was wonderful, fresh and light. Bread, dessert, salad all great. They didn't miss a thing!
Tosca - Happening, current place. Wonderful open kitchen. Brassy crowd. Chicken under a brick (a brick?) was crispy and moist on a polenta that I ended by scraping up with the bread. And what bread.... wow....!
