Himalayan Salt Plate

HabaneroLady | Oct 15, 201708:55 AM

Seems like every time I am at my local W-S outlet, I end up looking at the Himalayan salt plate. I really like the look of it. But I wonder how it works in practice. The idea of cooking or serving on what is basically a big slab of salt seems kind of dubious.

Have any other hounds used them? How do they affect the flavor when you serve or cook on them? What kinds of cooking can you do on them? Nothing stove top, I assume? Were they easy to clean? Should I want one? :)
