I went in today expecting that it would be the same old decor and steam heated food. What a surprise! The restaurant inside is lovely with dark wood furniture and a beautiful bar where the steam table used to be. The lunch menu was small with vegetarian , chicken, fish and lamb entrees. I chose the lamb and what a good choice that was. The meal began with a tasty lentil soup included in the lunch. The main dish was wonderful with a small salad of carrots, cucumbers and lettuce with the most delicious dressing. You can choose brown rice or white with your main plate and my rice was perfectly cooked. There was a side of chickpeas simmered in a lovely sauce with a small amount of spinach. The lamb was tender in a sauce with potatoes. Very tasty. The servings were generous as well as delicious.
The service was excellent from the young man. This is a place that I will be returning to so I can try more of the entrees.
