We will be spending 5 nights in the Dolomites in early September. Likely one night in Bolzano; then 4 nights in Val Gardena [likely Oriesto - - spelling?] I've looked on this board for food recommendations, but everything seems to be quite a bit outdated [5 - 7 years old], especially as far as Val Gardena is concerned. We will have a rental car, so driving from one town to another is not an issue. We will be hiking during the day, so likely hungry come evening. Looking for low key, local, down to earth food. Would try a one star Michelin if people thought worth the price, but not especially looking to go that route. Rifugios for lunch during the day.
