High Heat w/ Cast Iron Enamel

BwinCA | May 17, 201806:26 AM

Hi,

Manufacturers of cast iron enamel cookware recommend that you don't use anything higher than medium heat, or else the enamel may chip off. For those with this type of cookware are you forced to use other pans when you want to sear something with high heat? Would appreciate hearing feedback from people with similar experience. Thanks.
