LIttle Pete's, at 2401 Pennsylvania AVe or same block, rear entrance, from Fairmount, behind The PHiladelphian.

I shouldn't take this place for granted. If you are in the neighborhood, hungry, but short on funds, Little Pete's can't be beat. Dinners for $10.95-$13.95 typically include homemade soup, ample mixed salad, wide choice of entrees including fresh fish, great veggies, so-so rolls, nice selection of desserts and beverage of your choice. ONe of my favorite entrees is a half rack of lamb, with all the trimmings, for $13.95. $19.95 for a full rack. Half is plenty, and they are nicely roasted to order.

This place is popular; always crowded, noisy because of the crowd. Waitstaff is efficient, quantities a tad excessive, but they are used to doggie bags.
