I love the seaweed salad you get at sushi joints, and can find it easily at Japanese markets. Recently, I REALLY started reading labels more closely. There is High Fructose Corn Syrup in seaweed salad?! And I stopped at a little eatery that sold it to go - and it didn't list the ingredients, so I asked the store owner if she could show me the ingredients (from a large container in the back). WTF. I thought I was being heatlhy. Go figures I like it because it's sweet. Anyone have any thoughts? Or suggestions? (I live out in the Chicago burbs) I suppose I could rinse it off. Ugg.
