I recently traveled from Indiana to the Pacific Northwest, specfically starting in Aberdeen/Hoquium. Just one day prior to my departure I visited Chowhound to find some restaruant suggestions in that area. If there are more like this one, I would be interested in hearing about them. Well, we made a reservation at Gabellis' Restaurant on W. Herron, in Aberdeen. The item mentioned on Chowhound was Rotolo, rolled pasta with meat and vegetables baked in a creamy tomato sauce was delicious. The pasta was homemade sheets that were so tender, it melted in your mouth. The rigatoni special came with sausage and tomato sauce, the rigatoni were lovingly cut in half, it was to die for. The portion sizes were not over the top which left room for dessert. Desserts made by the Chef's Mother, Tiramisu and the other Lemon roulade with whipped cream. Delicious! Thanks and hopefully there are more hidden places in Western Washington.
