Hickory House barbecue

I searched the list and didn't see it, but I apologize if this has already been discussed. Has anyone tried The Hickory House Bar-B-Q in Uptown? Since NN Smokehouse closed I've looked in vain for an acceptable North Side alternative when I can't get down to Lem's. A few months back I noticed this place, a small storefront on the west side of Broadway, just south of Hollywood: strictly takeout with the standard array of smoked pork, beef and chicken parts, the usual sides, fried fish, and a variety of homemade sheet cakes under the glass counter. So far I've only had the tips. Both times I found them decent, but not surpassing. That said, both times I ordered early in the day, and wondered if they'd be better at a later hour. Yesterday, I took a bucket to a Super Bowl party and, competing with a colon-clogging smorgasbord of meat, they were demolished in the first quarter. Anyone else tried it?
