I went to the Turkish restaurant Hemsins this weekend, after a trip to MOMA. The food was AMAZING! I had a dish, I forgot what it was called, that had cubed lamb over an eggplant puree. There are actually 2 dishes on the menu with this description and the one I had was NOT the Sultans Delight. This was the most incredible dish I have had in a long time. The lamb was well cooked but the sauce....it was light yet creamy and had the most unique flavor. I am terrible food writer but I wanted to give you all a heads up about this restaurant. I think I will make a special trip to Queens just for this meal!
Also, if anyone happens to know what the real name of the dish I had please let me know.
