Heirloom tomatoes in Mpls

Josh Resnik | Sep 1, 2003 10:35 PM

For those of you looking to savor the last few weeks of fresh local produce in the Twin Cities, I recommend you check out the heirloom tomato stand at the Northeast Minneapolis Farmer's Market. The market is located across the street from Emily's Lebanese Deli on University Avenue, just south of Broadway and is open 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturdays. There is a British guy there named Colin who sells a great selection of heirloom tomatoes. They are the best tomatoes I have found in the city.
