You must try these rolls! A co-worker's friend from Calcutta just opened it, just down MacDougal south of Mamoun's. They make these fabulously cheap and delicious Indian rolls. The basic unda rolla (with egg) is $2 or 2 for $3.50. Delicious!! Try it, you will be glad! Way below is an exerpt from the New York Post review.

The basic unda roll - bread and egg - begins with paratha, sort of an Indian tortilla, toasted on the tava, a curved griddle. Whipped egg is poured in the tava's center and carefully topped with the bread. [Note: they are then filled with cilantro sauce, onion, masala, and freshly squeezed lime juice, then are wrapped to complete the deliciousness.]
