Oh Heavy Noodling, how I miss you... with your cracked formica, harsh lighting and sleepy waitstaff. But the noodles.... the noodles were sublime.
In its place came an inferior Taiwanese snack shop. We asked the owners what happened to the previous restaurant and they said simply "problems".
But now, it looks like the place has had a makeover.... just a touch of elegance in the shape of decorate screens and wall hangings. And the menu is Shanghainese... xiao long bao and the funny giant dumplings you such the soup out of with a straw (like the kind found at the famous Nanxiang Mantou restaurant in Shanghai)
Haven't eaten there yet... has anyone else?
