Heavy Appetizers for Wine Club

I'm hosting my monthly wine club tomorrow night. "Wine Club" is basically my girlfriends and I getting together once a month and share some wine, food and catch up. Since we're getting together on a Friday, and some might linger longer than normal, I want to be sure that I have enough substantial food options. I made some pickled shrimp yesterday that I'll serve on rye toast with aioli and in perusing previous Chowhound discussions, gougeres sound like the way to go. I will also be doing a small charcuterie and cheese platter as well as hummus & accompaniments. I would love one more heavier option, any ideas?
