Hello all of you chowhounders! We are a group of 5 waiters running away for the great city of Paris this weekend. We have all been there sometimes and know the city quite well. We have pretty much no interest in the neo-parisian cuisine and ethnic food we find a lot in Malmö/Copenhagen, yeah you get it:
We are looking for hearty, rustic, classic places where there are no pretentions but still great food.
Memorable places that I have been to before is Le Baratin, Chez Casimir, Repaire de Cartouche, Chez Josephine and of course Baron Rouge.
Wanna try something new and I am thinking about these spots:
1. Le Petit Pascal
2. Le Rubis
3. Chez L´ami Jean
5. Hugo Desnoyer (maybe not the same vibe as the other but I heard they hook up some insane meat dishes!)
What are your opinions about this, all of you with deep insight? Any other recs?
