Anyone heard of Barazzoni cookware?

RCJ | Dec 5, 201012:31 PM     8

I just picked up a Barazzoni braiser/casserole 4 qt I think) at TJ-Maxx because it appears to be very good quality and I needed one. Before I use it, I want to know if anyone is familiar with the product.

Supposedly it lists at $160. I paid $80. It is heavy stainless with a thick clad aluminum bottom disk around 5 or 6mm. Lid is tight fitting and of same guage as the pan. It has substantial cast and riveted handles. It looks great too!

I looked at their website but there is very little info and what info there is in in Italian. Can't find anything with Google either other than some Tramontina made by Barazzoni which is not what I have.

Thanks!
