Just lost 30 lbs, mostly from eating more salads, veg, less fats, and far less carbs. Off to China and Thailand soon, and fearful of eating my heart out again on dim sum, rice, noodles, bbq meats, etc....., foods which put weight on me faster than the Shinkansen. Any lighter dishes to enjoy there, which are still authentic and typical?
I'll probably still order what I want to and just eat a small fraction of it. But when really hungry, I do have a healthy appetite!, (here in the US I usually get a large salad), and wanting to stay with cooked foods and low/lower carb, what should I order? Please something more interesting than steamed vegetables!
