At the Saturday morning Healdsburg Farmers Market, I picked up a small bottle of hand sanitizer at the booth of Bernier Farms. It's 80% alcohol by volume and listed ingredients are alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, glycerin and water. And it's labeled for external use only. I'll mention that ethanol-based solutions are much kinder to the skin and less drying than isopropyl homemade sanitizers.

California's certified farmers markets are all about the local. Distillers are being encouraged to team up with their local farmers market for sales and to provide hand sanitizer for shoppers. Besides Young and Yonder, Half Moon Bay Distillery and Napa Valley Distillery are two that I know have done so.
"Farmers markets are vital during COVID-19, but they need more support"
More than 700 distillers across the country are making hand sanitizer to fight Covid-19. In most cases the production is earmarked for first responders and health care workers, but some are beginning to make direct sales to consumers where supply and state laws permit. Here's the list with websites that can be sorted by state or by name.
Some are turning stale beer into hand sanitizer (and whiskey).
