Hawaiian at Tampabay area

Mickey boy | Jan 3, 200511:30 PM

These are name of traditional Hawaiian local dish.
First time I discovered on Hawaii when I was 19 years old.(God!way to long time ago....)
I lived in Big Island of Hawaii(Hilo) for 2 years and moved to NY& NJ.When I was in Hawaii,Small local cafeteria just right next to my apartment and I ate there every single day(Because very cheap price & good food)
After I moved to NY,NJ and this Florida I never get traditional Hawaiian food ever.
"Roy's"....? Their served "fake" Hawaiian dish. Its good but I'm not looking for this. (I will be able to make more better).
Finally I discovered this place called "Ly-Ly Hawaiian BBQ" (opened 7 month ago)
McMullen Booth Rd & Enterprise, Clearwater(North Wood Plaza)
One Chinese couple operating this place and wife from Hawaii.
I just found this place by accident and got so excited. Very tiny place and just reminds me when I was in Hawaii. And I saw menu and found Loco-moco, Saimin.....etc. Shock,Shock,Shock!
My special favorite Hawaiian Macaroni Salad makes me cry! Bento(Japanese famous combination lunch box),
Chicken Teri-yaki plate,SPAM burger.....
I can live this place forever.
Hawaiian fusion is all mixed Japanese,Korean,Chinese,Philippines & Portuguese.
There served breakfast with Portuguese sausage & Eggs.
(I must get this next my day off breakfast)
I missed Hawaiian food so much but not anymore.
I am so glad.
