Hawaiian limu

Has anyone here ever eaten these things: ?

I'm a big fan of laver/nori, wakame, and kombu (and have been meaning to try hijiki), but limu kohu sounds like a whole different ball game. I have no idea where to get it though. Can I find this in the bay area or do I have to go to Hawaii?
