been to my favorite restaurant in baltimore. the menu has changed. the bartender informed me that the chef wants the asian aspect of the menu to reflect nobuyuki's style of cooking. i had the ahi toro with truffled veggies with ponzu butter reduction. need i say more. my friend had the seared pork shabu shabu. the broth was incredibly intense with the flavor of the pork and dashi. for apps. we shared a dayboat scallop tataki sashimi with osetra and ponzu. the entire meal was delicious w/ a capital d. the bartender also told me that tomorrow the chef will intro. double cooked short ribs with a miso based bbq sauce. i'll have to try it out the next time i'm there.
