So now that I live fairly close to the land o' hatch, and my local farm store now has hatch chiles that they roast on site, I'm curious to try some. My regular store also has them right now too, unroasted. However, since I've never had them, I don't quite know what to do with them. Do you just eat them alone? Puree them up and put in sauces? Chop up? All of the above?
Also, do they taste anything like green bell pepper? Because I don't like green bell pepper (other varieties are fine). Heat is also not an issue for me.
